Did the Experiment Work? Case for Hillary Clinton on election 2016
While most Americans love Barack Obama , moreover the democrats, his presidency has not produced the expectation of majority of the country. Evidence of this is seen in polls and white house desperation to produce a legacy for the president that has less than 2 years in office.
Most politicians were afraid that a new and different kind of politician in the Oval Office will have the audacity to tackle issues like campaign reforms. The majority of Americans, including some politicians like John McCain etc would have rallied around him.
His supporters would point to the Affordable care act as his major achievement, however, is this really an achievement that is bullet proof from all political spectrum. While the Affordable Care Act contains many benefits, especially for low and middle income families, Americans earning more, including some companies and their employees, have seen a negative financial impact.
Obama’s lack of experience led him to so many mistakes during his first cadence; some of which he shifted his views in the second term. Like the complete withdrawal of US troops from Iraq is in most account a mistake. While there is no doubt today that America went to Iraq war for the wrong reasons, but, squandering all those efforts, money and blood are unexplainable. In most views, the Middle East would not have been in the deteriorating conditions we see today with American presence in Igaq.
He has learnt the hard way and is not making the same mistake with regards to American troop withdrawal in Afganistan.
